New 2022 Ford Bronco for Sale in Patterson, CA

The legend returns

The new 2022 Ford Bronco has a familiar name and looks that are reasonably familiar, but other comparisons between this new midsize crossover SUV and its predecessors should be carefully considered before being made. Whether you only want to look cool while driving around Patterson, Modesto, Turlock, Tracey and Merced, or you have intentions of going up mountains or into the desert, the Bronco has it covered and then some. Daily commuter or wilderness adventurer? That's entirely up to you and what you want to do with your Bronco.

Trim Levels

You have seven different trim levels to choose from in the 2022 Ford Bronco lineup, and those trim levels cover a lot of ground and many budgets as the entry-level model costs just over half as much as the top-of-the-range Bronco. All models are also available in two- and four-door body styles. The entry-level version of the 2022 Bronco is the logically named Bronco Base, and from there, the range goes to the Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak and the First Edition. A very exciting development has been announced in the shape of a new Bronco Raptor trim level, which is set to be one of several special editions, but no more details are available for the time being.

Engines and performance

With an independent front suspension, coil-over rear shocks, and an electrically-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system, the Bronco is just as capable on the pavements as it is imperiously capable of handling the harshest of off-road environments. All those advanced components are then wonderfully backed-up by two available engines among Ford's finest powerplants of recent times.

The standard engine is a 2.3-liter turbo-four that develops 275 horsepower and 315 lb.-ft. of torque using regular fuel or 300 horsepower and 325 lb.-ft. if you use premium gas. That pretty decent amount of power and torque is then sent to all four wheels through a standard seven-speed manual or an available 10-speed automatic transmission. The alternative is the even more impressive 2.7-liter twin-turbo V-6 which then provides the Bronco with a very lively 315 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque or 330 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. with premium gas. This engine is available throughout the lineup, and when properly equipped, it means the Bronco can tow up to as much as 3,500 pounds.

Features and equipment

Before you configure a factory order or choose an available new model, it's worth spending some time carefully analyzing the Bronco specifications. Entry-level models are a bit of a bargain when you consider what they are capable of and what standard features they offer, but there are many choices to be made as you go to higher trims, so it pays to take your time to get the Bronco that's right for you.

The Base Bronco standard equipment includes 16-inch bright polished silver-painted steel wheels, climate control, remote keyless entry with push-button start, four-wheel-drive, Terrain Management System with 5 G.O.A.T. Modes, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen SYNC 4 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. All models can also be upgraded with the available Sasquatch Package that adds 35-inch tires with 17-inch Beadlock-Capable wheels, front- and rear locking differentials, BILSTEIN position-sensitive monotube shocks, 4.7 final drive ratio and high-clearance fender flares.
